blazer + sweatshirt + tank + bag – UO // sanctuary legging – stitch fix // converse – nordstrom
my 33rd was pretty awesome. and although i started the day standing in line at the dreaded dmv, expecting to turn 34 before they called my name, i was finished within an hour! afterwards, i headed to malibu to spend the day with mark. we had lunch, did a little shopping {i bought this dress on MEGA sale} and then we walked the malibu pier. the weather was absolutely outstanding. i really couldn’t have asked for a better {low key} day. thank you so much for the birthday wishes/comments on instagram and twitter!
mark is away this weekend – skiing in tahoe with his buds – and my bff {her blog} is flying in from new zealand today! she’s only staying one night, but i am so looking forward to spending time with her and catching up.
ps. sweatshirts + blazers + sneaks: big fan

Oh Malibu!! I can’t imagine living so close to the ocean. Or any big body of water, honestly. You look casual and chic at the same time – aka, my favorite kind of outfit.
Low key is the way to go. I find myself remembering more of the special, little moments that happen over simple activities than I do anything fancy and elaborately planned (though, that’s nice too sometimes). You make casual look effortlessly chic like no other, Paige!
Wow, I just love love love this look. The blazer, sweatshirt and sneakers look you put together is one I need to recreate stat. You are just so beautiful and I need that gorgeous hair of yours!
Such inspiration, love it!
