hello there!  i decided to extend this giveaway for two reasons.  1.  very few of you entered and it truly confuses me because 2.  these bracelets are amazing!  and i’ll admit, before tuesday, i hadn’t seen them in person and couldn’t attest to their quality, but after i hosted a shopping party with a few of my gf’s {gage huntley jewelry included!} i fell in mad love and had to buy two for  myself, as shown above.  plus…they were a big hit!  the bracelets are the perfect addition to your other bangles and whatnot – making your arm swag colorful and fun.  keep them for yourself or share with your besties - i see them as a more refined version of the friendship bracelets we used to share with our friends.  ;)

“As a mom of two young boys I wanted to stay home AND do what I do best. Having an in-home boutique where I can shop, style and advise was just that! I went to FIDM and worked at all the most fabulous places (Lily et Cie, Fred Segal-Ron Herman, Barneys NY) etc. I have styled, personal shopped and beautified celebrities and EVERYone I know on a daily basis for years. I can beautify in my sleep!”

bf+v: ashley, tell us a little about yourself.

ashley: i am a mom of 2 boys under 4, and a wife to a husband that golfs. i realize i’m a girly girl stuck in a boy’s world… (i just opened a bottle of red). i’m a closet therapist, clothes slinger, jewelry party thrower & realtor. and in my free time, i like to find more things to do.

bf+v: why did you start beep?

ashley: i chose to stay at home with my boys and wanted to be able to continue doing what i love. just because you are a mom with human feces under your finger nails does not mean you have to look like one.

bf+v: what is your fashion philosophy?

ashley: i have a few, but recent faves i’ve been leaning towards in the season’s mood are 1. don’t look in the mirror too long. put on what you feel like …and leave. own it! 2. when you think you have on too many accessories; add one or two more. 3. if you can button your jeans with no problems, they are way too big.

bf+v: what are your favorite trends? least favorite?

ashley: favorite: bold and bright colors. this forces me out of my “go to” colors comfort zone. least: it’s kind of been bugging me that not matching is a trend now. although this is a fave of mine… EVERYone thinks they are stylish. everyone looks the same and i want to start a fashion strike!

bf+v: what 3 items should every girl have in her closet?

ashley: perfect jeans (20-73 pairs), a bitchin pair of heels and a bikini :) (southern california girl).

bf+v: who is your style icon?

ashley: hmm, i will stick to a few in this day and age, because for me it’s more of an era or attitude i find iconic (which is the 20′s). there are a few stylish women who seem to catch my eye every time. they are: kate moss, gwenyth paltrow, sienna miller and blake lively. they all have a natural style that is not forced.

thanks so much, ashley! and friends, i hope you’ve enjoyed getting to know a good friend of mine. she’s a constant source of {style} inspiration {to me} and i’m more than happy to support her small business. even more so because if i buy a shirt or dress from her, maybe she’ll have enough money to go get a manicure and have the feces removed from underneath her finger nails. can i get an amen?
