*in august of 2007, i made my first etsy purchase – three soy candles by cottage garden therapies. lavender chamomile, hippie in a jar and patchouli. they came in the most adorable dark glass jar with a home-made label. the candles lasted forever and the scents were amazing, but i never revisited the shop! several years later, here i am…ready to make another purchase. i mean, who doesn’t want their home smelling like a hippie? {they sell soap, scrubs and body lotion, too.}
*a few weeks ago, i received an email from kate – a jewelry designer living in maine. every summer kate travels to different towns, selling her jewelry at local markets and festivals. recently, she purchased a vintage trailer with the hopes of opening her very own mobile jewelry shop! however, the trailer needs several repairs – water damage, upgrades, etc. so kate is asking for donations to help! there’s no pressure to donate, i just thought i’d spread the word. for more information, visit kate’s kickstarter page.
