simply absurd

i can’t believe this kind of stuff happens.  isn’t it enough that restaurants and grocery stores throw away boxes and bags full of perfectly edible food, albeit a few days past expiration date, that could be taken to shelters or possibly food banks??  and now clothing…come ON.  like the article suggests (below), there are so many homeless people in our country, not to mention the thousands of people in OTHER countries who don’t have a stitch of clothing to keep them warm or protect them from the elements.  why on earth wouldn’t these companies take this as an opportunity to DONATE what doesn’t sell and do something honorable and helpful for the greater good?!  i guess some people can’t be bothered.

ugh…i’m disgusted.
