sunday was our last day in palm springs…
again, i was up early and sunbathing by 830 am. we had eggs, bacon and fruit by the pool (which i must admit, it’s very weird eating hot food in the hot sun…especially eggs.) we headed back to our room around 11, showered up, snapped some photos of these amazing vintage finds and then made our way to palm desert for some much-anticipated thrifting!
angel view thrift stores DOMINATE palm desert and the surrounding areas! i mean…for real. we went to three that were all – literally – a hop skip and a jump away from each other. it was a thrifter’s paradise.
fyi: angel view crippled children’s foundation, inc is an organization that provides residential care to over 100 developmentally disabled infants, toddlers, children and young adults throughout southern california.
the money from our ($$$) purchases will help fund their living facilities, day/summer camp programs, etc.

you’ll be seeing many new items in the shop over the next few weeks…a lot of them from goodwill and most from angel view!
as for what i’m wearing…
i found the 70s, high waist, peach pants and the great southwest print bag at the rose bowl flea market on mother’s day!! the calvin klein, grey sweater vest was recently thrifted. and the belt…my fave as of late…it was thrifted, too. sunglasses from target!
WrW said that this outfit was “so palm springs.”
i’m hoping that means…70s-ish.
and not…old lady/retired, eccentric, white-haired, bun wearing, artist…
actually, i wouldn’t mind that.
all kidding aside, our long weekend away was amazing! we rekindled some romance (wink wink/t.m.i), lounged in the sun for hours, ate yummy food, and did lots of thrifting. i came home feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
…and excited about all the new items i get to share with you!!
ta ta for now..
