i hope you’re all having a fantastic weekend, so far.

this is just a quick post to let  you know how much i appreciate all of my readers and followers…

as some of the more regular readers know, i’ve been going through a transition of sorts.

and with the help of your kind, supportive comments…it’s been a lot easier to deal.

my blog has become a place for me to express myself…whether it be in my thoughts, creatively or otherwise…this community of bloggers has been a source of inspiration and comfort.

    I genuinely believe that one good drink (alone or with a loved one) (alcoholic or not) can change your perception of things. It is all about taking the time out from real life.

    I also believe that one of the worst feeling in the world is not KNOWING what COULD have happened. Maybe that means that I’m eternally looking for something better (which I suppose could be good or bad but I’m hoping it is more good than bad). Whether it means trying out a new life with a loved one, or ending a friendship with a “poisonous” friend, or starting a new blog and etsy shop – if you never put it into motion, you will never know how things will turn out and THAT would not sit well with me.

    Wow, I didn’t mean for this to be so long. Sorry for the novel =)

    It reminds me to just live life to it’s fullest because you never know when it will end. There may not be a tomorrow.

    This is the most uplifting quote I’ve ever heard. My dad introduced me to it, and since then I have passed it on any chance I get. In those moments when we may waiver or begin to doubt our dreams, this quote gives everything one could possibly need to hear in order to feel driven and desirous again. :]

    They update almost every day, and it consists of beautiful pictures and quotes. Some of my favorites are from that site.

  9. I have a couple quotes that I like… and try to remind myself of once in a while:

    I don’t know if those are exactly inspirational but they both remind me to slow down and not to worry about everything so much (as I tend to do).

    I have always been a quote hoarder, saving the ones that have always meant the most to me and helped me through tough times. A few of my favorites are:

  11. isn’t it crazy how just when we think we’ve got it all figured out and start to slip into the rhythm of life…then “bam!” life gives you a slap in the face and we’re back to stumbling through the unknown?
    i used to get frustrated with change but now i crave it! i see it as a positive step in life (whether it seems good or bad at the time) because every step you take is a step forward. these shifts and stumbles are part of the ride! i’ve learned as i get older to take risks. when i hit 28 i decided i wasn’t getting any younger so i might as well “grow a pair” and just do what i want (or what i think is best for me) and deal with the repercussions later!
    with that said, here’s one of my favorite quotes:

  13. I have been thinking for a while now about which quotes to leave you…I really like quotes. Probably because I’m such a rambler. This is just a little something I think to myself that help me lift my spirits and keep on keepin’ on

    Every 60 seconds you spend being miserable is a minute of happiness you never get back.

    It’s really corny, but it always helps me because sometimes it’s really how you see things that matters the most.

    the last few weeks have been kinda strange for me. i’m facing some big milestones and i feel like my life is just screaming towards them and is not slowing down. i’m flustered and restless. this verse came to me this morning and was exactly what i needed. to find joy in all that you do will really put things into focus. not worrying about what’s coming next but being joyful for the life that i’ve been given right now.
    and let me add that you are looking so supremely gorgeous in these photos. love the soft colors and the soft blur. looks amazing!

    The quote was from a script I started writing 3 years ago and helped inspire me to make my own fashion blog, and I think about it every time I see posts from girls who always talk so negatively about their looks.   26. Woo-hoo!! When feeling down, one of my favorite songs to listen to is “Look Up” by Stars. Here’s the refrain:

  27. My favorite saying is… be.

    I have this phrase tattooed on my wrist I love it so much. To me it means freedom. Be shitty, be happy, be joyous, be sad. Whatever you are feeling, do not deny yourself of that emotion. Stop pretending and be. :)
